Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" the American as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two-time world title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather criticized former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, consistently making massive paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As both boxers participated in the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually proceeding.
